Edwards is a member of The Florida Bar, and is licensed to practice before all Florida State Courts and the United States Federal Courts, Middle District of Florida. Attorney Rodney A. Edwards is a native of Central Florida, born and raised in Melbourne, Florida.  As a student at Melbourne High School, Attorney Edwards heard the call to serve his country during a period of possible conflict.  In the year leading up to the first Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm), Attorney Edwards enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  In the months leading up to the start of the Gulf War, Attorney Edwards entered Marine Corps Boot Camp at Parris Island, South Carolina.  Attorney Edwards’ military training as a decorated United States Marine has instilled in him the commitment to duty, service of others, as well as the drive to fight through the difficult struggles of the moment to accomplish the mission at hand.

After being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps, Attorney Edwards began to pursue his college education.  At all times during Attorney Edwards’ academic journey, he had to balance both work and family life with his academic pursuits.  After receiving his Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, he applied to law school to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney and helping the community.  Attorney Edwards returned to his native Florida to attend Florida A&M University College of Law, where he competed as member of the BLSA Moot Court team and graduated in the top of his law school graduating class.  

Since graduating from Florida A&M University College of Law and passing the Florida Bar, Attorney Edwards has remained in the Central Florida area working hard in the community giving back to youth and families alike.
